Ann severed in the US Army Woman's Corp during the 60's, the Vietnam era.  Ann's family has provided service to the nation with 100 plus personal service years.  Ann's 5 brothers include a retired US Army Special Forces enlisted member.  Ann's father provided over 30 years service as a Government employee at Lackland Air Force Base San Antonio, Texas .  Joining the Army fresh out of high school was an extension of her families service history to the nation.

Ann's son joined the US Navy and served 6 years as an ET on fixed base facilities, NAS Jacksonville and carriers. Ann's son used the GI bill to achieve a mechanical engineering degree and then joined Government service in support of the US Navy Patuxent River, Maryland.
